The devil and his Counsel Conspire Against Man

“Tonight,” wrote Josefa, “I did not go down into Hell, but was transported to a place where all was obscure, but in the center was a red smoldering fire. They had laid me flat and so bound me that I could not make the slightest movement. Around me were seven or eight people; their black bodies were unclothed, and I could see them only by the reflections of the fire. They were seated and were talking together.

“One said: ‘We’ll have to be very careful not to be found out, for we might easily be discovered.’
.
“The devil answered: ‘Insinuate yourselves by inducing carelessness in them… but keep in the background, so that you are not found out… by degrees they will become callous, and you will be able to incline them to evil. Tempt these others to ambition, to self-interest, to acquiring wealth without working, whether it be lawful or not. Excite some to sensuality and love of pleasure. Let vice blind them…’ (Here they used obscene words).

“‘As to the remainder… get in through the heart… you know the inclinations of their hearts… make them love… love passionately… work thoroughly.. take no rest… have no pity; the world must go to damnation.. and these souls must not be allowed to escape me.’

“From time to time Satan’s satellites answered: ‘We are your slaves… we shall labor unceasingly, and in spite of the many who war against us, we shall work night and day. We know your power!’
.
“They all spoke together, and he whom I took to be Satan used words full of horror. In the distance I could hear a clamor as of feasting, the clinking of glasses… and he cried: ‘Let them cram themselves with food! It will make it all the easier for us… Let them get on with their banqueting. Love of pleasure is the door through which you will reach them…’

“He added such horrible things that they can neither be written nor said. Then, as if engulfed in a whirl of smoke, they vanished.” (February 3, 1923).

“The evil one was bewailing the escape of a soul: ‘Fill her soul with fear, drive her to despair. All will be lost if she puts her trust in the mercy of that…’ (here they used blasphemous words about Our Lord). ‘I am lost; but no, drive her to despair; do not leave her for an instant, above all, make her despair.’

“Then Hell re-echoed with frenzied cries, and when finally the devil cast me out of the abyss, he went on threatening me. Among other things he said: ‘Is it possible that such weaklings have more power than I, who am mighty… I must conceal my presence, work in the dark; any corner will do from which to tempt them… close to an ear.. in the leaves of a book… under a bed… some pay no attention to me, but I shall talk and talk… and by dint of suggestion, something will remain.. Yes, I must hide in unsuspected places.'” (February 7, 8, 1923).

PRAYER TO THE QUEEN OF ANGELS TO DEFEAT SATAN

August Queen of Heaven, sovereign Mistress of the Angels, who didst receive from the beginning the mission and the power to crush the serpent’s head, we beseech thee to send thy holy angels, that under thy command and by thy power, they may pursue the evil spirits, encounter them on every side, resist their bold attacks, and drive them hence into the abyss of woe.

Most holy Mother, send thy angels to defend us and to drive the cruel enemy from us.

All ye holy angels and archangel, help and defend us. Amen.
.
O good and tender Mother! Thou shalt ever be our Love and our Hope.

A Bernardine Sister was shown in spirit the vast desolation caused by the devil throughout the world. At the same time, she heard the Blessed Virgin telling her it was true, Hell had been let loose upon the earth, and that the time had come to pray to her as Queen of Angels and to ask of her the assistance of the Heavenly Legions to fight against these deadly foes of God and of men.

“But, my good Mother,” she replied, “you who are so kind, could you not send them without our asking?”
.
“No,” Our Lady answered, “because prayer is one of the conditions required by God Himself for obtaining favors.”

Then the Blessed Virgin communicated the following prayer, bidding her to have it printed and distribute it gratis.
Novena for the Defeat of Satan
As St. Paul tells us in Sacred Scripture our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against satan and his army of devils. St. Jude, in the Bible, tells us it was St. Michael back at the beginning of creation who led the Heavenly army against Lucifer and his fallen angels and drove them into Hell.
We must especially realize that our fight is against satan, more than it is against the men and women infiltrated into the church and into positions of influence (e.g. in the state and media and schools), and more than those people who have allowed themselves to be used to fight against God, His Doctrine, His Church and His Law, and His revealed Will at Fatima.
Above all we must use spiritual weapons. Of course the Rosary is “the weapon” as Padre Pio used to say, but also let us invoke the aid of the good angels. Let us pray the Novena on this page today and every day, asking St. Michael and his Heavenly armies to fight against all the devils who are obstructing the great crusade for the consecration of Russia that Our Lady of Fatima commanded be done.
Photocopy this prayer and pass it on to others. Get extra copies of this issue and invite your friends to pray this Novena prayer every day for the triumph over evil and hell, and over all the terrible schemes reported in this issue that menace us, our children, our loved ones and our country.
We must be decisive and courageous. With the help of Our Lady and the Holy Angels we shall be victorious over all these evils.
Remember that St. Michael is stronger than the devil, as you read the article “The Crime of the Nineties.” Remember too, that we are not without help and protection if we would only ask for it. We must wake up and pray for this help.

Prayer to Our Lady, Queen of Angels

Glorious St. Michael, Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, who standest always ready to give assistance to the faithful, who didst fight with the dragon, the old serpent and didst cast him out of Heaven, and now valiantly defendest the Church of God that the gates of hell shall not prevail against her, I earnestly entreat Thee to assist us also against the painful and dangerous conflict which we have to sustain against the same formidable foe. Be with us, O mighty Prince, that we may courageously fight and wholly vanquish that proud spirit whom Thou hast by the Divine Power so gloriously overthrown and whom our powerful King, Jesus Christ, has, in our nature, so completely overcome; so that having triumphed over the enemy of our salvation, we may with Thee and the Holy Angels praise God Who has granted the possibility of repentance and forgiveness to fallen man. Amen.

O Divine Eternal Father, in union with your Divine Son and the Holy Spirit, and through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg You to destroy the Power of your greatest enemy — the evil spirits.
Cast them into the deepest recesses of hell and chain them there forever! Take possession of Your Kingdom which You have created and which is rightfully Yours.
Heavenly Father, give us the reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I repeat this prayer out of pure love for You with every beat of my heart and with every breath I take.
